I know that I have not found any clubs that are close to me....the closest being STL or anywhere that is aprox. 2 hours away. I am looking to start a club close to Pana, Springfield, Decatur and etc....if you are interested please post in this thread and we can try to get this started!!!

Sounds good! I just got mine last week, so I'm still a newbie to the whole scene. But as I meet more owners I will definitely spread the word.

 

Welcome to the club!! It is truly an awesome car!!! Do you know all there is to know about your MINI? I have meet new owners who know next to nothing...not sure if their salesperson told them anything or maybe they got theirs at a diff. dealer, lol. There are plenty of people to help on the forums and I can try my best.....this is my third mini, but its been like 6 years since my last one!!!

 

I am a consummate researcher, pretty sure that I have figured it all out but I have thoroughly enjoyed every second of experiencing it first hand. I have already tinted the windows and replaced the run flats and stock rims with aftermarkets....what a complete difference in the ride! Next up: Stage 3 kit!!!

I have only got a few responses...I am still interested in starting one....but need members!!!! lol

 

Do the club and some will come. Really the first part is planning some events. Usually start small (short drives or socials) or join up with other some what local clubs and try to build interest. We are in Madison, WI but have people participating from IA, IL, and across WI. Members from our group often travel to do events with other clubs as well, when they know what the event may entail.

Hi.. I live in Charleston and have 2006 s. I have been meeting with Southwestern Indiana club.Club is very informal and we have had 2 good road trips this summer.I think if you plan a trip with interesting destination you will get people to join. Maybe get some business cards to hand out or stick on windscreen, and yes count me in" but not to just drive around in the middle of a big corn field that I live in" lol Larry
