Looks like we have a free day on Sunday. We plan to head down to Visalia and drive through Sequoia park and back out 180. A picnic basket, a blanket and good weather is all we need. This is our first mountain trip with Lil Miss. We are looking forward to this trip.

Well, how'd the run go? How was the weather? Did you make it to Crawdaddy's and meet MINIChef? A few MidCal members and I went there last Saturday and had a BLAST! The food was deeelish!!!! (THANKS STEVE!!!)

Well the trip went great! We got to Crawdaddy's later than we wished. Steve had already left but we decided to have lunch anyway. Great food! Filled Lil Miss with gas and away we went. We stopped at Lake Kaweah and took a few great picts of her... and my wife. It was a little overcast in the park and a bit chilly but a great day for a drive. I drove into the park and my wife ( Marty ) drove out. Boy this car can really handle the curves. In the 10 and 15 MPH turns the tires didn't even squeal. I know, I didn't push it hard enough if it didn't make noise, but Marty wants a bit more time behind the wheel before I play racecar driver. We made it home 4 hours after starting the trip and the gas gauge barely moved. What an impressive car. We look forward to many years of enjoyment and the friends we will soon be making.

Yes, we are sorry we missed you too MINICHEF, but Sarah treated us real nice and I am sure we will be at the restaurant again soon. We have a friend that is a big New Orleans fan. We will bring her down as a surprise.
