Motoring in the Half Moon Bay area?
I was on holidays in the SF and Half Moon Bay areas and found a great little resturant called "Chez Shay" on the main drag thru Half Moon Bay.
I searched to see if it was mentioned in here but found no mention. It is some great food. Wonderful home made soups. My wife and I were there and had a great Pumpkin soup, made without milk or cream. It was smooth and had just the right amount of spices to be warm but not alarming. The sandwiches were also excellant.
Just thought someone might like to know.
Oh, and we spotted 2 MCSs in town while there, a BRG/W and a dark blue/W that were traveling together on Dec 30th. Doing a little furniture shopping, I think. Both had the "Full Size" decals on back.
Happy New Year!

How about CLoverdale Road, that looks pretty nice? Or Alpine Road?
We did Rt1 between Big Sur and Leggett. Fantastic road, fantastic views! Continued up to Benbow and Humbolt Red Woods State Park.
The Red Woods defy description in their majesty and beauty.

But ya' gotta love the sound of rocks pinging off the bottom of the car and exhaust system as you blast down a stretch of gravel road.
