I'm in nowhere land so everything take forever to get here. USPS tracking is sort of a joke. Stuff usually arrives before the tracking info ever gets updated. Hey Willum, you got post number 2500 in this thread. You can increase the resistance if you want to feel something after you sober up.

2500....do I get a prize!!
Increase the resistance by turning the knurled **** in a bit? Kinda tight in there to get a wrench etc.

Figured it out myself. Wasn't hard... Read what thread? I never went on any threads for the part :P I just pmed the guy...

Anyways, the part is incredible. I did a bunch of 0 to 100 runs in first through 4th gear short shifting at redline the entire way. All i can say is WOW. This part works wonders everywhere. It makes downshifting and upshifting feel much smother. Also, if you want to really see how well the part works, let your engine bog down. You know how the car shutters when that happes? Try bogging it down with the damper. The only indication I had was that my boost gauge was going crazy. Hardly any movement inside the car. This mod was WELL WORTH the money. Hell, if I knew it as this good, I probably would have bought the one off pfunk long ago.

Let me know what you guys think of yours when you get a chance.

One more thing: The MINI loves the 93 octane gas out here

Looks Like Its Too Late But Printable Instructions Are On The Thread.
Still Waiting For The Usps To Come Through Down Hear Too. But In 107° Heat Who Want To Work In The Garage.
Blake, Its Good To Hear That We Can Expect Good Results. You Shoul Post Them On The Damper Thread. It Seems To One Of The Most Popular Ones At This Time.

Actually, That's a good idea. I will go and do that.

The instal wasn;t hard. You just have to do alot of wiggling.... Also, you need a crescent wrench that is really small and a socket.

Hey Steve, I Just Read You Posts About The Ags. Have You Considered Going To A Ss Braided Radiator Hose Instead Of Wrapping. I've Used This Many Times In The Past With Good Results. Even A Ss Sleve Might Help.

Maybe I Need To Start A Cooking / Recipe Thread?
Start a recipe thread I will go to it. I think it would be popular.

Just received my damper. Now to see if it will work on a MCSa. I'm all for the recipe thread. Also, someone needs to post the MidCal MINIs' run on 7-29-06 out of North Fork on our Web site. Blake, you sure you didn't put that damper on your bike? Ken

Hey, some of us work for a living still. I e-mailed the info out to the members but haven't uploaded the new info to the website yet since I just got back to my office. Michele sent me a list of people for the e-mail list that had about ten new names. I have no idea who they are, but I added them. I hope they aren't your cop friends so they know when we're out driving. I thought you sent them all after Blake in Michigan, anyway.

Ok, the website is updated. I also tentatively listed August 11th as our next meeting date since there was no decision made at the last meeting. Any complaints will gladly be discarded. NOT.

Steve

Edit: Burrito King is starting to grow on me since the last meeting because the service was so good and they had Bohemia beer.
