Life up here is good. The condo is just bout finished. I have my orientation where I get my school ID card (gives me acces to all buildings, etc...) next monday. Should be fun.

Today I drove to Downtown Detroit. Great city. Very clean and the people were very nice. I went to the GM center which is a group of like 6 or so 70 to 80 story buildings with a mall beneath them owned by GM. In the loby they had the c5 racing vette they use is the ALMS series and the 24 hours of lemans. They had a big celebration today about the victory at the 24 hours of lemans for the vette racing team.

Good city, and even though I was often times the only white guy, i never felt like i was in danger (something I can;t say about other parts of detroit...). I might make a run to canada or toledo later this week...

 

How long are your parents staying? When do you start?

 

School starts sept 3 (i think) The parents will be off to sightsee around the east coast after thier orientation (same time as mine)...

 

Have you learned how to cook and clean and do laundry yet.

And i would find myself infront of a toilet after that for a week. Jacks is far worse than mcyuckyucks (thanks for that brad... i can;t call it anything else now...)

 

Not yet. There arent many of them out here... There is one a couple miles from my house that i need to rty...

 

I don't know about the rest of you, but this talking about food makes me hungry, and its also BEER time.
