I'm signed up for leg 10 and 11... That means I will be hooking up with you somewhere outside of Indiana... Should be interesting. I might visit with a friend out that way...

You will enjoy it. Take it to a flat, straight road, and accelerate from a standing stop as hard as you can. It is noticible all the way to the 3-4 gear shift change. After that, the engine doesn;t have enough power to torque the engine enough for the damper to make a difference...

Hmm... Never been too much of a fan of bass... I can't imagine how you could even enjoy that beer right now, though. It's so hot down there that the beer would only be cold for a couple mins, at most :P

I'm in my house with the air on

I was going to drive up the hill, but when I walked into the garage, I swear the Mini gave me a frown.

Ya. The supercharger isn;t too fond of that hot air... That and the crappy gas youre feeding it :P

Be careful when you go through the heartland. You don;t wana spoil Bruiser on that E85 93 octane gas.

It is glorious

Also, Chevron doesn;t exist past Utah... Just a heads up... I suggest shell gas from that point on, as they are Top Tier fuel.

It's not just that it's 93 octane gas, as soon as you get outside of cali, the 91 gas is much better than California 91 gas. It makes a huge difference.

Have I mentioned lately, ITS HOT. Already 94, and only 8am

Steve, did you get your intake Finished? Or did you melt and give up.

It's done except for enlarging the intake hole in the front. I think I'll wait to use your dremel. I am going to install the dampener in a few minutes before it gets too hot. It got down to 82° last night so it's going to start off higher than yesterday. There are some clouds, though, so I can hope that we might get a little rain to cool things off somewhat.

Steve
