Helooooooo??? Anyone alive out there?

Just checking to see if anyone's breathing out there, or if the club's hibernating during the winter? I'm helping Aaron with some club event planning and I'm wanting feedback from the community, if people are reading this forum.

Shout out if you're alive out there!

I don't know if I'm officially "in the club" (are there dues or something?) but I'm in Columbus and I'm motoring!

No dues. Just come and enjoy the occasional get togethers:

Every thrird Sat at the Tim Hortons on 161 and New Albany Road for breakfast from 8:30-10

Occasional summer Monday nights (dates to come in early spring) at Quaker Steak and Lube at Polaris...

whatever else happens!

I just recently joined NAM and am considering a MINI for my next car, so if you don't mind I might have to meet up with you guys one of these Saturday mornings. I live in Blacklick, so that wouldn't be to far away.

How far south do you guys motor? I go to Greenfield about once a month through Dayton. Do you ever have trips that would take you down in that direction?

Camm - we've done occasional runs to Hocking Hills, and are always looking for ideas. I have a mapped-out run all the way to the eastern Ohio border that I'd like to do one weekend when it gets warm again.

B.A.D. - feel free to stop by! We do the third Sat.of the month at the Tim Horton's in New Albany, starting at 8:30. We're a friendly bunch.

I just got my Mini last weekend and would love to join the Club. I live in C-bus also. I'll shoot you a PM so I can be on the list for the newsletter.

Come on over to Tim Horton's in New Albany on Saturday the 16th for coffee & donuts. About 8ish. After we kick tires there we head over to Outmotoring & try to resist buying goodies for our cars.

I may have to take you up on your offer. But then figure at that time on a Satruday I bet I can drive from Indy to Columbus in little over 2 1/2 hours. And that's due to the roads being clear of course with no traffic. I'll let you know for January.

Thanx

We always love having MINI folk over to Casa Cook - just let me know before you show up on the doorstep - our 175 lb dog can be a bit intimdating to people that don't get "official sanction".

Better be careful. Matt may be trying to cut down on his dog food costs. Although I swear that critter is some kind of horse.

I guess from now on when someone tells Sean what time to be somewhere, just tell him an hour before he needs to be there. That should work out just fine.

Matt your dog left quite a wet spot on the driveway you might want to cut down on the water supply.

Chuck is right the hardest part of the Saturday morning get togethers is resisting spending all savings on Mini stuff from Aaron. (btw I am feeling a carbon fiber binge coming on)

Hope to see everybody next Saturday morning!

Matt, you're right, it's been a little quiet on the forum front lately. I've been traveling a lot (by airplane, not by CHKMINI airlines, dang it !!). See you all on Saturday. I think Santa hats will be in vogue that day
