As you may know, the MTTS caravan is hitting Indianapolis and then Charleston WV at the end of August and I wanted to see who was planning on driving to either of the two locations or if anyone is doing that part of the drive?

I will most likely be going to WV (thursday August 31) for 500+ MINI drive-in. Anyone else? I've seen a few Ohio people signed up in the MTTS sign up deal online.....

 

my work schedule is cramming up (as always) but i reserved a spot on both the StLouis-Indy and Indy-Charleston legs just in case the moons line up...

 

We wanted to go, but due to work we will not be able to make it now They are having an event at Cini Mini and then following the rest of the drive! Sounds like a lot of fun and I would love to see all those Mini's driving together! Please take lots of pictures, I would love to see them! Have a great time!

 

I'm currently planning to drive to Charleston WV early Friday morning, then following the MTTS route all the way to DC or possibly Jersey City.

aaron me and the woman are going. i will be talking to you shortly about some out motoring decals for the drive. we are officially going to the the indy to wv leg, then break off and drive north and spend a night in athens, oh (my gf's alma mater).

i will be in contact so we can figure out how to best do the OM thing lol.

 

We've been considering driving to Indy and following the pack on that leg, but we're on the fence... We tried oficially registering for MTTS when the "black box" campaign hit, but by the time we decoded the message it was already full!

PS - what's the date for that leg officially? I think there's a AutoX planned for the weekend of the 26th through the Miata club, down at the Hysterical... erm, I mean the HISTORICAL Society, isn't there?

 

where is everyone staying at for this leg of the journey?

we are booked in at the travelodge about 2 miles from the indy speedway then in wv we are booked into the holiday inn holiday house, 1 block away from the park/drive-in movie. hotel should be nice, it is right on the riverfront

 

I am driving down Thursday in the afternoon to meet up at Charleston, WV.
