Out Motoring proudly welcomed Waylen from Way Motor Works this last Saturday to swing by Columbus for a FULL day of MINI mods which we've coined "ModFEST" (as to not be confused with other similar 'parties' of one kind or another) We had dozens of people and many MINI's come in from all over Ohio....check out the following link:

We also have another tentative "ModFEST" the last saturday of March or the first Saturday in April to have Chad from Detroit Tuned come down to do another one. We will work with Chad to set up appointments and a host garage, etc.

If interest is strong we'll host another one in mid to late summer with either Chad or Way...we've gotta spread the love a little!! The MINI world is very small!!

Man, you guys worked Waylen to the bone. He came out for a Sunday drive with MINICCI and looked like a zombie. Fortunately, he was riding shotgun and not driving... ;-)

 

yes, thank you for NOT letting him drive. You probably saved more than one life by keeping him in the passenger seat....I don't know how he did it..the installs kept getting more and more stuff added onto them throughout the day and it just ended up being a super late day....i tried to get him to stay the night in Columbus!!!

 

It sounds like it was a great time sorry I missed it. I need to get a list of up coming event since I am just down in Cincy.

There are many roads. One doesn't have to drive those darned interstates. Get an Ohio map or better yet a DeLorme map book & have an interesting ride up north.

Aaron, are there any more MINI breakfasts on the schedule? Now that I have my MCS there seem to be none. I've been getting my Saturday breakfast up in Galena at Jules on the square. I motor in around 8:30. I'd be up for Bob Evans too.

Do do breakfast and some MINI talk outside in the parking lot every third saturday of the month at the New Albany Bob Evans at 8:30...it usually lasts until 10:30 or so and we have anywhere from 5 to 15 cars each time....
