Who is planing on going to the Dayton British Car show in Beavercreek on August 7th?? We aren't sure if we are going to enter but we will definitely be there.

 

I'll plan on it. Won't enter, but I will be there. It's a great place to snap some pictures of some sweet cars.

Brit Car Show in Dayton on Saturday, Indy Car weekend at Mid-Ohio and then MTTS in Columbus on Sunday with the Indy leg on Monday!!! I may overdose on motorsports that weekend

 

I'll be at Mid-Ohio, S2000 is gonna be in the parade lap again. Or I'd show.

I've been to this show a time or 3. It is a very nice well attended show at a wonderful venue. All car shows should be held in such a nice place.

I went to it last year. there was a bunch of cars, in a nice park. It doesn't get much better.

 

We go to it every year since it's only 20 minutes from home. There is a really nice turnout of all kinds of British Cars and the past few years a great turn out of MINI's. Lots of sun but lots of places to sit in the shade as well. Some fun vedors and food. Overall a great show

 

Got obligations to be on some various Cleveland golf course that day. oh well....

 

It sounds like I will be left home alone that weekend, so I might be up for a trip west.

 

Hello everybody, I'm not dead, but just haven't logged into NAM since May. I'll try to make it to the car show August 7. I doubt if I will enter it, but it will definitely be an entertaining day to attend. It also might be one of the last MOM events that I'll attend with my 2003 Mini :-(.

 

OK...give us the scoop Cooper! Why will it be your last MOM event with the '03 MINI? The OSU paddy wagon didn't find you again...did it?

 

Haha, I'm afraid I have no more interesting ambulance stories to tell. I still love the Mini, but it looks like I have the opportunity to drive my little sisters Honda Civic (still with warranty) until I finish school. I'm afraid the Mini could be a further money pit in the future...

I'm going to a little town called Nürburgring tomorrow in a 2010 BMW 128i. I heard there is a famous track there or something.

I think Cooper told me his sister drove a pink car, this could be very interesting.

 

Nothing wrong with a pink car. It's the Hello Kitty graphics that are a bit over the top.

 

My wife had a civic for a rental when her car was in the shop after the accident. It was better than the Toyota Avalon they initially gave her, but still not a MINI! Definite withdrawals during that time.
