Just wanted to post a welcome to the newest Mid-Ohio Motorer! My wife is no longer just a "passenger"... she is now a full-blown motorer behind the wheel of her new 2008 Chili Red Clubman! We are now officially Bi-Miniual

Can't make it to Feb's breakfast, but we'll be up for the March meeting and then we're planning on heading to the Columbus Car show and/or MAG to see the new Cabrios!

Thanks All!!!! The Clubbie is red on red right now. Hopefully this week or next MAG is painting the roof and mirrors black and putting black sports stripes on it! We only have a couple of pictures now but will post more when the clubbie gets painted. Check out either the Flickr pics below... or the couple in my Gallery.

 

Very nice Clubbie. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Looks wonderful just the way it is, but I understand one has to youify a MINI.

I would recommend you have the dealer swap out the mirror covers with black ones rather than paint the existing ones.

That's what I wanted to do, but according to the MA @ MAG they don't have black mirror caps available... only the Union Jack, Silver, etc, etc.

 

WOW, how do you get any sleep with two MINIs to look after? That is so cool!

Good thing I don't have a bigger garage...hey, there is an '05 LY convertible for sale at one of the (non-MINI) car dealers in town...

 

2 Mini's that's great!! I should take delivery of mine the first week of March. Then we too will be a 2 MINI family. I can't wait.

The clubbie goes to MAG on Monday for painting and stripes! I won't get it back until Saturday though. I'll post pics once it's done. Does anyone know where I can get a "Stop Staring at My Boot" window sticker/bumper sticker??

 

I'd get a local sticker/vinyl place to make you one in letters and then apply it to the window , no paint damage to worry about ...

And I'm not buying the no black caps for the clubbie :

I think what they meant is that they Don't have them in stock and you can "only" get the black mirrors from the factory... I'd have thought they'd have them on hand...

Little Red Wagon looks great. It's like getting a second new car.

 

I like it much better with the black roof and with the stripes.

Of course, a two-color roof is even better.

 

So are we, at least for now..........
