Recommend somewhere around here to mount balance tires?

Like the title says Im looking for a good place to get my stock tires and TPMS put on another set of rims?

Had good luck places? I was trying to find people I know so I could do it 'under the table' but no luck yet. Places want upwards of 130 bucks to do it.

Just dont want new rims getting messed up by some kid whos probably not done many runflats and TPMS lol

Dealer is probably rediculously expensive too as i havent called them yet... heck they scratched a wheel doing my alignment

lemme know if youve had good experiences anywhere! Ill probably have both sets off the car too so wont have to worry about getting it up i the air and taken off

ET Paul does all my tire work. The owner will be walking around and when he sees that you are concerned about the work he will make sure his best guys work on it, they might take a little longer but only because they work to do a good job. I do not have the TPMS so that might cost more, but the last time they mounted and balanced my wheels it was around $50.

I would second ET Paul for great service. I don't know if they will do runflats. Best call & check before driving down there.

Try www.tirerack.com and go to their list of installers. They list for all areas, and specialize in runflat removals.

First off, I love your R56 and its setup. Please come to the next breakfast and show it off.

I advise going to NTB at Polaris and try to talk a deal into a few of the guys there. The staff is well trained and fun to be around. Stas is my friend and might be able to cut you a deal.

As much as I love tirerack , I used one of their recommended run flat installers. Who then damaged my rims, would not take care of it. Not happy with their recommendation. Tirerack did make good, so kudos there.

This might be too late, however Firestone in Grandview is good with tires. A family friend owns the place and they do really good work. I am a new Mini owner so I have not taken my Mini there, however I Miata was there a couple of times. The owners name is Mike Garcia and like I said they do really good work.

I guess you can't please everyone, and mistakes do happen. I've used the same installers [just outside Greenville, OH...about 15 miles from me] for the last 3 years now and have never had a problem. They took the Goodyear runflats off my white MC wheels with no damage, as well as the Dunlops off my silver MCS wheels...again with no damage. Reinstallation was true and fast. I cannot be more satisfied.

well i went to ET this morning... done quick and i couldnt be happier.. not really much cheaper than anywhere else, but he put one of his guys on them that had experience with them and he even told me to come out and check them out during various stages of completion to make sure everything was to my liking

i highly recommend them for future thread searchers who find this

ET Paul Tire Co on Parsons Ave in downtown Cowlumbus. They've been there a very long time. I bet at one time they did Conestoga wheels.

Chuck was right:

Among the nation's oldest tire dealerships, E.T. Paul Co. of Columbus, Ohio, began as a blacksmith shop in 1895. In the Paul family four generations, it now specializes in High-Performance tires.

I learned of them from my old boss, I took his Mercedes and then his Bentley there and got top notch service. When I needed tires swapped I went straight to them and got the same service so I try to get people to go there.

An interesting side story is that when they redo the 70/71 split that shop will vanish and an off ramp will go in right there, what is the ET Paul reaction? We will just move somewhere close by and keep on doing what we have been doing for over 100 years. I have a lot of respect for people and companies that do the right thing for a long time.

I had read that ET Paul was going to be paved over. That made me sad that such an old place would be lost to a freeway. Glad to hear they will continue on.

If I had to guess I would think they might use space at the Sports Car Storage place just across the way. That place has the same feel of that been there forever treating people right. I rode by on my bike one day and saw an old Ferrari, when the people inside saw that I had circled back and was looking in they invited me in and let me look around (supervised the entire time of course).

I believe that place used to be a buggy maker in the way distant past. A wonderful old building hiding some tasty things inside as you found out.
