Yep I watch F1 & I beleive the loss of electronic aids such as traction control is a very good thing. I want to watch drivers show their skills not software designers. It's been enjoyable watching drivers slide their cars.

I think we are in for a good season of F1 racing.

F1 fan here!! The driver should be the only traction control... One certain driver learned that with out TC, one must keep all four wheels on the pavement under hard breaking... Technolgy is a wonderful thing but if you have ABS, TC, Auto Shift, what's next steering assist? Do all that and you might as well make them remote controlled from the pits....

hay there is nothing wrong with rc you are talking to a 1/10 touring car electric and 1/10 serpent guy, before i moved up to a full size car. rc rocks you can learn so much about how a car handles and set up, they really are like high proformance race cars. gas car like the serpent is even cooler you pit for fuel and tires in a long main race. any way off topic.

so i am watching the qualifying as i type this man does it look like they get a reaally wide track like you could run 8 mini wide. so how about the same upc and that it is made by mickclairin(spell) seam like they should of had some one else make it that does not have anything in f1.

Well, depending on what part of the world you're in you may need to bring lots of doughnuts! The Malaysian GP starts at 2 am eastern time..........most of the European races start at 5:30 am Eastern time.....

Allen, come on over, but I won't watch the race until Sunday morning. I sleep at night.

Could you guys please not post spoilers in your posts. IE results in your posts. If I see the results I rarely ever go back & watch a race.

Thanks from a time shifter!

My 26 inch is smaller, but does rev faster than a 60 incher. Don't know what thx is?

Allen you have to provide breakfast, but since you'll be saving scads of $$$ on gas & you can afford to have breakfast catered for us. La Chatelaine does a fine job.

I am another of the "time shifters" like Chuck. I will be watching as soon as I eat breakfast in the morning tomorrow. I hope this race is not like the demo derby they had last week in Australia, where if you were running at the finish (and at least one who wasn't) you are in the points. I am really enjoying watching some of the drivers struggle without traction control, but it does make things interesting, indeed. I am not really sure that using a common ECU is a particularly brilliant idea, however. If F1 keeps going in this direction they may very end up stifling growth and innovation. Interesting that they are going to investigate Red Bull for having "fragile cars." If they kept them on the black stuff, and didn't turn in when other cars are there, the Red Bull cars would probably be just fine. Colin Chapman would have been booted out of racing if they had investigated some Loti for fragility in the old days.

My TV only rotates when one drinks too much.

well i think that as far as the ecu they should let them run the one the made. however i think it should be the car and a driver and nothing else. i dont like all the limts they put on them like groving the tires to slow them down. i think that they shound really let them run as fast as they can, they no the risk and f1 is suppose to be the top. look at baja they dont say you can only have 37 inchs of wheel travel and 900hp. if you want to run it they will find a class or make one. basicly i am trying to say let the teams make a car that is fast no electronic that control handling and the like and let them run
