New Thread - Who's Coming to Breakfast & Gift Exchange on 12/15??

Check your holiday calendars, it's breakfast and gifts on the 15th. I know we will have breakfast at Tim Horton's, do we want to exchange our $15 car related gifts at Tim's or at Aaron's (Outmotoring). Sorry Aaron, didn't clear it with you but I'm confident that it's OK.

Let the OT replies begin

I'll be there.

We are doing an "AUX Jack Install clinic" - instructed by Matt (ImagoX) and a possible "Speaker Replacement Install clinic" - instructor TBA later (I'm waiting for the parts to arrive), on my mini.

I know how you guys love that kind of stuff.

I think we should install a super charger pulley.

For tunes we have to find an 8 track player for you. Do you like Barry Manilow?

I had a dodge charger once, I'm not sure I need another car to pull my mini even if it is super

Barry? I'm a Sting and the Police or an Adam Ant girl, go ahead and post stuff I can take it. 80's music (not sure if it was really music) RULES!!!

I'll be there. I vote for doing the gift exchange at TH.

Chuck, wifey is a huge Barry Manilow fan. It's one of those things we don't talk about.

I plan on coming in the Outback at this point. By the way, the way I slid around a couple days ago has me shopping for tires. I have Yokohamas on the MINI. I was thinking about AVID V4s for the Outback. Any thoughts anyone?

I'll be there - the gift for the exchange is already wrapped.

I'll do the AUX installation if possible - if it's raining or below zero, I'd like tio reserve the right to beg off. Unless we can convince Aaron to let a car into the bay at Outmotoring or something.... I think that's his new shipping staging area by this point, though...

I was told the other day that the old Santa remark "Ho Ho Ho" is no longer politically correct and now Santa has to say Ha Ha Ha. True story!

It's better to be pissed off than pissed on.

I'd recommend Nokian WR all season tires. These tires will actually work in the snow, unlike many so called all season tires. They are severe weather rated.

I've bought snows from the Tire Factory & received good service from them.

Thanks. You are the one that has about 4 sets in his garage, right? Well, of the 150 tires I looked at, I'll have to admit I didn't see this one. But, I was looking for an all-season anyway. After intense research on Subie newsgroups, TireRack, etc. I've ordered some Yokohama AVID H4s that I'll have put on on Tuesday. You can inspect at the breakfast and can tell me that I made a fine, fine decision!!

Well...so much for that present Now I've got to think of something else Let's see, Kim has the bent wheel, Welshman won't be there, Matt's probably got a mixture of Christmas LED's, Allen has a bent mountain bike wheel and Chuck , this is one that will be hard to beat

I'm sure those Yokoblama's will be just fine. Right now I'm up to 5 sets in the garage. I am trying to cut back to 4 sets.

****This is who I use. I've used him for years & he's always done a great job. He is also a Tirerack recommended installer.
His prices are good too.

Saturday looks to a not-so-bad weather day, so we may make it over to the place after we stop somewhere for a real breakfast.
