I've met 3 other Mini drivers in York, but it seems like there's about a dozen
others I've seen driving around.
Anyone else in York?

I have a yellow mcs that can be seen around east york.

 

min4cin, that's the Yellow/White one that's often at the CC plant?
That's gotta be the first one that I've ever seen in York!

that's the one, it was possibly one of the first one's in york except for the other yellow one we saw the same week we picked our's up.

 

so, only two Yorkers on northamericanmotoring.com including myself,
and it appears only three Yorkers on mini2.com including myself.
Hopefully, more will join later.

Where did you go to purchase your MINIs? And how about for service? Im up at Penn State (year in France...) but Im trying to decide on the feasability of having a MINI and not being next door to a service department... Thanks

I got my Mini at Mini of Towson, just over 40 miles south of me, and will
go there for service as well.
Next close dealers are in philadelphia (2), annapolis, sterling va, princeton nj,
and pittsburgh.

I live in Harrisburg and I got mine at Mini of the Main Line (MML) in Philly. I'll start there for service, but if I am not happy I'm planning to jump to Otto's in West Chester. Towson is probably about equidistance but I'd rather stay in state, with someone who will do state inspection and emissions testing for me. I hope MML does a nice job with the service-they are close a few of my siblings. So I'll be able to mix pleasure (driving) with pleasure (visiting)! A teut a l'heure, AppleCello!

 

I picked up my Cooper in May 2002 from Mini/Main Line (Don Rosen) and have had all service / inspections / recalls ( :smile:

 

York MINI Owners -

Are you aware of Triple-C Car Accessories on Orange Street in West York?

[Triple-C]


They sell all types of classic British Car accessories/die-casts, etc. and have just added a line of new MINI accessories/performance items.

[btw, the owners have a new Chili/W MCS and a couple of classic minis as well]

Hi Cristo, met you at Borders. LY/W MC. Yes Triple-C is in York. They also are on the Net at Triple-C.com. Have not been there yet, tried a Saturday but they were not open.

 

Well, I'm not in York any more but I grew up there. I hope to have my MCS this week. I know of one black MCS owned by a friend named Chad. It currently has a set of 19" HRE wheels on it.
