Well here are the 2 dealers that I am 40 mins away from both. Now the question is, which one has a better customer relationship. From the Dealer Rating System they both get 4 stars.....

Anybody have Con's and Pro's about these places, good and bad. Thanks.

 

I bought my MCS in CT, but moved to the DC area. I've recently been to Sterling a couple of times for warranty work, etc., and have been happy with the way I've been treated. I have not been to Tate, so can't compare the two...but I've been satisfied with Sterling.

I used to go to Sterling VA cause I lived in DC, but that was about 6 years ago!

I've been to Mini of Sterling and they are 1st Class.

 

both are good.

tate's nice, cause you can sit in the waiting section, and watch them work on your car.

I bought my car in towson, so i go there.

I've had my car to Sterling a few times. Although they've had some staff changes since I brought the car in last.

My wife brought the car in last week and dealt with Nicco, who is now the MINI service writer, and only had good things to say about him. I've dealt with Wais over in service, who's pretty good, but he's a pain in the xxx to track down as he's rarely at his desk. I've also had a positve experience dealing with Mike who is the service manager, who helped me during one of the times that Wais vanished on me.

On the sales side, Sterling has had some turnover in the last 2 or 3 months. Crystal Waddy who used to be the sales manager and Jon who was my MA are both gone. I've heard that Crystal was promoted but I haven't seen her, I haven't had any real dealings with any of the other sales staff there but they seem to be ok...

I've ordered my Mini from Sterling and they seem pretty good. Sort of sucked when I heard Jon left. But so far I haven't had any problems dealing with them.
