now I hate to be the rules "police" (b/c generally I'm no good at following them) but the original rules do say you or your mini need to be in the picture ... however I REALLY like the new theme and I'd have to guess no one would be happy if you stopped on that bridge you were on to take a picture, so personally I'm cool with letting this one slide (I'd be a horrible cop ) ...

now to charge up the DSLR and find the tripod for a night time shot at logan ... the chase is on

As for the airport, for fear of getting arrested, I had to drive and snap the photo. Tried to get my car door in the shot, but I missed it.

 

heck I was cool w/ the little bit of mirror you had in your "law enforcement" shot BUT this is even more awesome! ... I tried to get a shot next to a cruiser but got some really weird looks so i just went with the station (was still watched like a hawk)

if you HAD gotten arrested you could have scored the bonus points for flashing lights AND the new theme in the same picture, thats gotta be worth double bonus points!

 

I got a story about law enforcement. Back in 2005 there was the season long treasure hunt going on. One of the items was military base entrances. I happened (yeah I targetted) Hanscom AFB. Well I pull up around the front gate, pull out my camera, aimed, and snapped the picture. It was at the moment I had this uneasy feeling. 3 cars come zooming out of the base, one drives past me and blocks the road, the other 2 stop at where I am. 4 guys get out of the car. I am surrounded by MP's. In additiona I am wearing a Neon Green Balaclava, which makes me look like an Ninja Turtle . Long story short they made me format the card in the camera and told me it is illegal to take photos of military bases. Thank god, this was one of my first stops and did not lose alot of photos and points.

Was this the last time I took pictures of military bases. Prison are like military bases btw. Almost got me arrested at one of these as well.

So is the new theme simply an Airport ???

Airport....airplane....helicopter....hot air balloon. Pretty much anything that can go "Up, Up and Away!!!

I wonder if it could fit in a hospital elevator. Theyre pretty big because they have to fit the beds in there so it might fit. Next time I get hurt ill be sure to find out.
In die hard, Bruce Willis drives a van into an elevator shaft and it falls to the ground and explodes after a bit. Instead of that, do it in the Tower Heist fashion

 

Now that you mention it, I think our MINI's could fit in those hospital elevators!

And I definitely wasn't thinking about that Die Hard scenario. More like the new age parking garages where your car just "comes to you" on an elevator platform "thingy".

 

Ill be in there soon enough . But don't drive it off like in Mission Impossible. Im sure that was a great advertisement for BMWs cars being safe
