Crikey, John that is a killer deal!

Bummer for me though, I'm at least 6mo away from any serious consideration..

Any idea how it would smog in CA?

it passes NY sniff/dyno testing just fine. not sure about CA, although I believe the emissions tests are the same.

lime rock and pocono once; 3 or four autocrosses, one Evo autox school, four nights at Englishtown, about 3-4 runs each.
a punky list, I know. Last event was 10,000 miles ago!
In fact, one of the main reasons for selling is that I can't get time to do this more often.

O Mini, if you're looking for a similar colour and mileage car, have you seen the two on autotrader? What do you think?

Oliver, what attracts me to this car, even though its an 02, is the quality of the mods (engine and audio) and the price. Ideally, there are other features I would want like sunroof and xenon, but this really is an amazing deal. I believe I'm not alone in believing that jlm has a reputation for doing things right.

The Endyn mods in particular are something I would like to do on an S.

John, what was the goal of your Endyn work (e.g., was it low-end torque, peak power, etc)?

endyn is known for never using the dyno to claim high hp readings. Instead, his opinion is that 1/4 mile times and street performance in general are improved best by a good, wide midrange powerband.

this car has sunroof and xenons, O mini.

new and old ex ports

Why such a wide range on the dyno? What mods generated the low number and what generated the high number?

two different dynos:
Dynojet/Hubie tuning the Apex'i: 213hp
Mustang/Helix for fun. ten months later, totally different ambient conditions

represents about a 10% spread.
