05 Mcs Fs - Awesome Car!!!

It is with much regret that I am offering my 2005 MCS for sale. It is a 6-spped CR/W black leather with anthracite trim. It has Sport, Premium and HK. Mods include an Alta pulley, Alta Intake, Shark Injector, Ian's Auto-up, center armrest, Scroth Rallye4 Harness, bra and hood stripes.

The car has 12,400 miles on it and is in amazing condition. Clear CARFAX. It was hit on the driver's side (as reflected in my photo gallery) but has been repaired using all new OEM parts. The pictures of the car in my gallery were taken after it was fixed. The damage was all cosmetic with no mechanical parts touched. No airbags deployed. The car looks and drives better than new!

The car has received all the best of everything including nearly daily detailing with weekly Zaino. It has never been through a car wash. I have all service records and even the original sticker.

This car is a must-buy for anybody who wants a great deal on an 05 "S". More pictures are available upon request. Thanks for looking!

I am selling for a couple of reasons:

1. I usually only keep a car for one year, which is how long I have had the Mini
2. My 2 1/2 year old and 6 year old just do not fit in the back anymore. I need something with a bit more rear legroom
3. I have a great deal on a BMW X3 which satisfies #2 above

3cocinas - I am hoping to get wholesale bluebook for the car. Make a reasonable offer and I will consider it!

Yes, it does have the sport package. If you are in the neighborhood, you should definitely come see it!

I'm in Torrance, but I'm looking for one without the sport suspension.

I understand! Have you driven a sport and non-sport back-to-back? I have never driven a non-sport Mini and have no idea how much of a difference there is.

Uh... guys? There is only one suspension for the S, unless you go JCW. There is actually nothing at all sporting about the Sport package.

That was what I thought, but did not want to say something stupid [again]. I thought the sport package was the s-lites, headliner, xenons, and maybe different seats. Is that right?

Suncoast:
Zaino is a wax/polish product. Take a look at http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc
for more information. Also, check the detailing forum of this board... lots of discussion about the pros and cons of the stuff.

I don't profess to know as much about the Minis as you guys, but I do remember a couple of auto testers from different magazines and also on the radio, that if you buy a Mini don't get the sport suspension, because it rides a little too harsh.

FWIW, if you get the S, you get the sport suspension. Also FWIW, in '03 they softened up the shocks due to harsh ride complaints.

The standard Cooper gets the SPORT SUSPENSION
The Cooper S gets the SPORT SUSPENSION PLUS with stiffer front and rear stabilizer bars.

SPORT SUSPENSION PLUS is available as a standalone option in the Cooper model.

The Cooper S already gets the "Sports seats" as standard factory equipment. The "Sport Package" for the MCS gives you the following:

Xenon headlights with power washers
Bonnet stripes
17" Runflats and "S-Lite" rims
DSC (Dynamic stability control)

The sport seats are optional equipment in the Cooper model.

Since the Sport package does NOT include stiffer suspension, may I humbly suggest that you come take a look at it and drive it? I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

Thanks, Red, for the offer, I'm sure I would love it, but its not in my budget. Thats why I'm in the market for an '03 or '04.
Very tempting, though.

Oliver -

From what I can tell, there is not that big of a price difference across the years. PM me with your budgetary needs and we can talk.
