FS: New diamond plate trunk mat

Brand new diamond plate trunk mat, still in wrapper (have 2, one shown here). $80 new, will sell for $60 including shipping. Personal check or Paypal (+ 5%) accepted.

Adds some nice bling to the boring trunk area.

Whipped cream cleans up just like that!

So just this morning I had a can of spray whipped cream open up and squirt all over in the trunk of my MCS. Good thing I had that diamond plate mat, cleanup was easy. This happenned to me last week as well, before I had the diamond plate, and it wasnt so easy. So anyone who has had spills in the back or is afraid of spilling on their interior, this is a great item. Hey, what the heck, I will even lower it to $50 including shipping.

No one wants this for $50 including shipping? Maybe you didnt notice how shiny it is. My shop tells me that the chrome creates less light resistance due to the reflective quality, therefore decreasing drag and increasing speed. No they don't. But it is shiny. Useful too. Well maybe I need 2 for some reason. We will see.

I just like it. If you get the light stuff in the spray bottle it is low fat, low calorie, low carb, yummy, and kind of filling when it expands in my tummy. Mmmm....I have to run to the fridge now.

Stories sell.

I'm liking it. I added some more bling to it and I get tons of looks and comments. There are a lot of little imperfections that together add up to a lot of work, but I've been working on it a lot and added a bit of my own style to it. I'll hopefully get a chance tomorrow to take some pics and re-introduce it in its new clothing to NAM.

Well you may not like it, it is possibly the antithesis to your "project no-chrome." Perhaps I should call it "project chrome?"

Just an update, there have been no recent whipped cream spills.

Oh, and I still have this, and its getting shinier by the minute.

Do I hear $55?

No longer for sale. I got tired of waiting, so I chopped it up into pieces. Not really, but I did use it in the making of my new false floor. So now you lift up the diamond plate false floor and find another diamond plate matt. Pretty spiffy. I'll post pics later.

It is so. Its been for sale since December 6, with a few nibbles but no bites. Last night I was designing a false floor and started cutting my other trunk mat, but cut it a little to shallow. Luckily I had this one still new in the box and got it right the second try. So I put the shallow cut matt on the bottom of the false floor where the cut isnt really noticed.

They are on clearance at Moss MINI or Mini Mania (dont remember which) for $70 or $80 though.
