WTB: Steering Wheel

This is PROBABLY a bit drastic, but here goes:

Looking for a steering wheel ONLY*, part number:

32306769733

3 spoke for a 2005 MC CVT. Needs to be in 100% new condition, but I cannot afford the brand new price...please make an offer. No rips, etc... Hopefully someone out there with a junked Cooper can come to the rescue.

Thanks!

John

*No airbag, buttons, etc... as I have all those components in my existing wheel. I don't even think it is legal to ship an airbag in the mail anyhow, and would never use a "used" one.

Surely you are aware that you cannot make such a request here without elucidating us as to your purposes and motivations.

No. Sadly, my brand new, 2 (3?) day old MINI steering wheel has a scratch in it. My dealership will not fix/replace it, and I noticed the scratch/patch about 2 miles from the dealership - it's on the back of the wheel. I'm 100% sure I did not cause it, but what can I do? Wheel cover? Vinyl/leather repair kit?

By "No airbag, buttons" I was referring to a stripped down wheel - I have all the components. I would never use anyone else's airbag anyhow, and don't think it is legal to ship an airbag in the mail/UPS...

sorry to hear about this

What I would do is mention their name on this board so others can stay clear of them....

Report them to 866-ASK-MINI and push this up the chain ...

Good Luck - No matter who and how this happend. They obviously are taking the short view

(BTW - it IS legal to ship airbags via UPS with the proper explosive declarations)

Nah - they've been talked about before. Since their policy is that they won't repair/replace it, I can only fix it - either myself, via replacement wheel, or Mr. Vinyl :shudder:. Since MINI's get totaled from time to time, I'm sure someone will have this part eventually...

Try this - more than what you need but you could always part out the rest.

I have been accused of such from time to time. I should have said my steering wheel was ruined by a cat, and the whole thing was in shreds : )
