FS - Dinan, BMP, JCW Intakes ( yes three different CAI's)

I have various cold air intakes that my company has finished evaluating. We basically went out and bought these new and used from various sources. Ready to let them all go individually.

1/ Dinan for $150 plus shipping - SOLD

It is used but in like new condition. It would include the Dinan air box lid and cotton gauze pleated filter, plus of course the install instructions and the modified weather stripping.

2/ BMP for $65.00 plus shipping - SOLD

Also used, but in good condition. It would include the Advanced Flow Engineering cotton gauze pleated filter that originally came with the kit, plus of course the aluminum heat shield that replaces the lid of your stock airbox.

3/ JCW for $235 plus shipping - SOLD

It is a brand new complete JCW Intake kit in the box from a Upgrade Kit. It would include the factory paper pleated filter, air box lid and bottom, cowl partition plus the install instructions.

All the CAI's are complete and ready to install with no additional parts required. Shipping will be actual cost from So Cal. Payment via PayPal is preferred.

If interested PM me

JCW Intake Sold

The Cooper Works Intake appears to be sold. The Dinan and BMP are still available.

In reply to the horsepower questions, my company looked at these intakes, plus others, from the filtration and air flow point of view. We did not install and run them on a dyno.

We did test each CAI on a flow bench plus we also tested each filter separately to a SAE / ISO norm used for testing air filters. We may or may not make public the results of these tests, we just haven't decided yet.

What I can say is that my company will eventually be offering replacement filters for each of these CAI's that will offer superior filtration, meaning it will protect your engine better, plus enhanced airflow when new as well as when the filter has 15,000 miles of use added to it.

Someday someone will do dyno tests of all the CAI's out there to finally answer the HP question, we just weren't the ones, ......... yet.

i can't believe you still have the Dinan. wish i didn't already have one. i waited for a year for them to come out with anything and ended up going to another company because they took so long.

BMP Intake Sold

The BMP intake is sold. There are sales pending on the JCW and Dinan CAI's so I guess that is it for a while. We will have another batch of CAI's that are currently being evaluated for sale sometime later this summer.

In reply to the question about the availability of a JCW replacement filter, my company has already prototyped a design and will be installing it for trial this coming week.

If it passes, figure tooling and then first production within 60 to 90 days. I will keep everyone informed here as to progress.

Will these JCW replacements also be washable? What kind of pricing are we looking at?

CAI Replacement Filters

Filters will use polymer impregnated volume media teknology so they will be washable and rechargeable to as-new performance. In other words a lifetime filter.

Price will significantly undercut that for the OEM JCW filter. That is really not too difficult.

Filters for the Dinan, the BMP and Alta style CAI's will be competitive with existing replacments from each manufacturer as well as K&N.
