FS: Heavily Modded SoCal MC40 2004

Suspension and other than the engine:
H Sport Comp Springs
H Sport front and rear Comp Sways
H Sport front strut brace
Adjustable Koni shocks on all for corners
H Sport Camber Plates
Ireland Engineering rear upper and lower control arms (toe and camber adjustable in the back)
Steve's endlinks
Stoptech Big Brake kit with Axxis pads along with Stoptech rear slotted rotors
Volk LE37's
RA 1's around with a slightly used set of street tires at Steve's (I forget which but good ones)
Schroth 4 point harnesses for both driver and passenger
Alta Short Shifter

Engine and related:
Steve's Cylinder Head
Schrick HP Cam (the newer one)
Ported and polished from the intake manifold all the way back to the header...I mean everything matched personally by Steve.
15% pulley
62mm TB
Iridium Plugs
Nology HP Plug Wires
The "Device"
Mini Mania CAI
Shark Software
Borla Race exhaust

This is one of the fastest factory aspirated cars you will EVER drive. It handles like a go-cart as well! If you like canyons this car is unreal! It has 3100 miles on it and has been impeccably cared for. I have well over $46k into this car and am asking $32.5k. The car is located in the Los Angeles area.

I have several pics but they are too big to upload and being the old timer that I am I dont know how to reduce them. I am happy to send them to interested parties.

What do you mean no warranty? It maybe heavily modded but the warranty is still there.

Hot! Hot! Car and so low mileage....

I think what 04YellowS is alluding to is the fact that, with all the mods, a lot of dealers would not honor the warranty for any of the driveline, suspension, or brake components. This doesn't leave you with much of a warranty.

I understand what he is saying about the "No Warranty". However, the truth is that the ONLY way they can deny warranty work is if they prove your mod created the issue. Sticky point I know but thats the law.

However, I know MINI mechanic lead in a dealer in the SoCal area that will work on the car.

Well, if you want a stock car it's easy enough to buy one. If you want a car that will hang with an M3 in a drag and blow almost anything away in the canyons this is what you would want. It's all a matter of what you seek.

This car is very special.

I have a lot of mods on my 03 MCS (ALTA PULLEY, ALTA INTAKE, THROTTLE BODY, PLUGS,WIRES, COIL PACK, SSR COMP WHEELS, MILLTECK SPORT CATBACK, H-SPORT LOWERING SPRINGS, P/S FAN COVER, H-SPORT REAR SWAY BAR, H-SPORT CONTROL ARMS, UNICHIP ECU, WEBB’s STAGE ONE BRAKES, AUTO UP WINDOWS, VOICE OPERATED GPS SYSTEM, M7 OIL CATCH CAN, UPPER AND MID GRILLS, ALTA SHORT SHIFTER,
WHALEN SHIFT ****, DRIVER’S KNEE PAD) and the dealer still honored my warranty. Which is now gone since I have over 55,5700 miles.

Also, I am in the same area (So CA) and probably went to the same dealer for service.

It looks like a good buy to me.

Earl

Bump for an absolutely gorgeous MC40...I'm buying one next week, but off the showroom, it looks nowhere near as nice as yours does. Good job. I hope you get what you want for it, I can't see why someone who's looking for a well modded car wouldn't be on it. For the mods and the condition/mileage, it's not a bad price at all. I'd pay that much if what I was looking for was an already modded MC40 in a heartbeat, but alas, I'll be happy just owning one, stock and all

Dave.
