After having it on order for 6 weeks, my dealer just informed me that BMW will not ship them to the US. Is any one willing to part with theirs? This is the same one from a group buy by Alex I believe. My better half really had her heart set on this one and I would hate to disappoint her.

Just a heads up, I have one and found it on Ebay, I payed $195. It came with the same mounting instructions from the factory. Nothing wrong with it and I installed it in 10 minutes, love it. I would search Ebay a few times a week.

Is this the center armrest that MiniUSA has been promising since January? (Parts guy at Classic said they'd cost $156 w/ discount, but he had no idea if they were going to be getting them in any time soon!)

 

Nope, different one. It was, I believe, available in Europe last year. Looks and mounts different. I prefer the look of the old one, so that is what I am trying to get.

I bought mine about 4 months ago (just received my Mini two weeks ago) after reading a post on the mini2 forums (www.mini2.com) and participating in a group buy on http://www.newmini-technik.de

I paid $165 shipped from Germany and love the armrest now that it is installed. Way better in my opinion than the new one. You may want to search mini2 for "armrest" or "group buy"

I sure hope that doesn't also happen to me. I've had my armrest on order for a couple of weeks and haven't heard anything from the dealer yet.

 

Give your dealer a call. Mine didn't do a thing untill I started bugging them.
