I wouldn't bet on that. The warranty is at the descretion of the dealer with all those mods. YOUR dealer may be nice, I know mine would laugh if I attempted a warranty claim.

 

Planeguy, the only parts the dealer will not warrantee are the seats. If your dealer refuses to honor their contractual agreement, then you should file a grievance with Mini USA. I actully had the dealer shop give me the resonator replacement as a freebe. Please read http://www.sema.org/main/semaorghome.aspx?ID=50096, it clearly states the law.

I am familiar with most of that ( I did learn a thing or two). My point was that the dealer will certainly tell you "NO WAY" Perhaps you have established yourself as someone who the dealer does not want to argue with, perhaps you are a lawyer and get paid very well to argue with people. Most people do not want this hassle, They are adverse to getting in the face of the dealer and spending a good deal of time effort and energy to get thier way.

your link clearly states the options available to the consumer, the owners manual clearly states modifications void your warranty. Whoever buys this car, a sweet ride it is, Will have a battle cut out for them. One that the consumer will win in all probability, but a battle it will be.
