Well, I got some shiney new Corbeau seats and installed them in my Cooper. They fit me great. One big problem, my wife can barely reach the pedals even with the seats all the way forward. The Corbeau seat brackets don't have the same forward range as the stock ones. She's only 4'10". So, either she goes or the seats go. Since she makes the MINI payment, I know which one has to go.
I'm very bummed!! Long drives have become painful (back problems).
Anyways, I can return them but wanted to offer them for sale on here first in case anyone is looking for a set and wants a deal.

I have the following:
2 Corbeau CR1 seats in black (brand new - only mounted in the car once)
2 mounting brackets
1 adjustable lumbar option

They are the regular width ones that will fit up to a 34" waist.

They cost me a little over $1000 but I'll sell them for $800 plus shipping. The seats alone are $800 so its like you are getting the brackets and Lumbar option free. If you are local to the Phoenix area, I might even be up for a trade plus $$ if you have some Sport seats (anything but those darn stock seats).

You are selling for $800 each correct? How much do these weigh?

 

$800 for the pair with brackets and 1 lumbar. Not sure on the weight.

Nope. I'll have my dealer reset the light. If I did keep them, I'd just use a 3 ohm resistor as everyone says to do.
