The PO of my r56 did not have an AC line bracket in correctly and it caused one of the lines to rub through.

Can someone describe how this bracket should be oriented with the hose? And what are the two tabs with holes in them for?

Also, is there supposed to be a shroud over the coolant hose shown in the last image?

Maybe if we knew the year / model you're working with, someone could help. It doesn't look like my '07 S hatchback --- which does not have a shroud over the lower radiator hose. Your AC lines look totally different than mine. And, I'd guess the two tabs with holes are mounting brackets. Have you tried looking at the REALOEM illustrated parts breakdown?

 

It is a 2010 MCS. I will take a look at the exploded diagrams, but sometimes it's difficult to see exactly how it should be in place.
