FS: Multifunction Steering Wheel w/airbag

i just put on a sparco steering wheel on my MCS, and i had the multifunction steering wheel, i live in WA and dont really want to ship it but money talks, as for the price of the steering wheel, i dont know how much these go for, being a multifunction its a lot more then a standard wheel, the condition of it is perfect no stratches or peeling of the leather, which i have been told is commom on them. please no LOW balling on this. IM me if interested

Lowballin?

Good thing you're not in a hurry. Check out Ebay. There's one just like for $30 (no thumb bumps either), no offense, but I doubt you'll see more than $100 for that wheel unless Forest Gump reads this form. Anyone who needs an airbag probably made a call to their insurance agent, and I doubt the insurance guys would go for the idea of installing a used airbag.
But Happy Holidays and good luck.

Is the airbag still in it or is it now in the Sparco?

low balling

Since it's a public forum, I'll give my $0.02.

If you don't list an asking price, it is impossible for someone to low-ball. You say you have no idea what it's worth, but you obviously have a price you want in mind. I understand that YOU don't want to low ball, throwing out a price that's lower than someone might pay, but it works both ways.

Ebay shows a new style (3 spoke) MFSW went for $350, so that's a benchmark. The one with the nice perforated leather and 'thumb bumps' is the hot ticket. So you're looking for someone that didn't get MFSW and wants to upgrade, but doesn't need to get the best.
You could always throw it out on Ebay with a high reserve, but the wheels out there didn't generate much interest in terms of bids, FWIW.

Chris,

Would really like to see a photo of the Sparco installed.
Interesting that you took the leap away from the multifunction to do the simpler Sparco. What are you going to do about functioning the cruise control and the other remotes? Anything?

Pic please!
Maybe post your responce back on this thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t=34441&page=2

Hope to see it there

My offer is $130, which includes the cost of shipping - although I am not sure about the issues of shipping an airbag (since it has an explosive in it!)

No he's talking about the thumb grips that was an available option for the steering wheel. They are little bumps (extensions) on the inside of the steering wheel, that would align with your thumbs if you held the steering at 10am and 2 pm or 9am and 3pm or so. It gives you a better grip on the wheel. I didn't think I needed them, until we got a Lexus IS300 Sportcross which came with them, and it makes a difference. But no matter, you don't have them.

I don't need a new wheel - at least for now. But if I did decide to get a new MINI, I would not want the "gameboy" wheel they fit these days.
So just for safety, if I can get a "proper" wheel at a sensible price, I will store it.
