Schroth Harnesses for Sale

I have two Schroth harnesses for a MINI for sale. Light usage, no emergency usage, in black with gray Schroth markings on the shoulder straps. PM me if interested. $ 250.00 for both or offer.

Graham

OK why am I selling them? I'm getting a harness bar and the Schroths won't fit. I need to replace them with full race harnesses.

I've got a pair of these I would sell for $200 if there is any interest.

Would you split them? And what color are they?

They are blue with black letters.

If I split them, what chance would I have to sell just the passenger side by itself? If nobody else is interested in the set I would sell you just one side, I guess.

I have the standard seats and it was hard to keep in place during spirited driving during club events. I am replacing my MC with an MCS with sport seats and don't figure they will be as useful anymore.

I only used them a few times, as they were too much trouble for everyday use.

These are the the 4-point harness show here:

http://www.soloracer.com/minirallye4.html

In fact, they happen to be the same color, except I have the zip-on pads in black.

Hmmmm, are you not running them between the headrest post? Seems to work well for me.

They work very well indeed; and, yes, I put them through the head posts. What I meant was the flat seats let you slide around, and the Schroth belts kept you snug in the seat. Great, but reversing was kind of a pain for everyday use. I mainly stopped using them because I didn't have a rollcage and was warned of the possible danger in a rollover.

Why would a man on a camel need a set of harnesses

I had a Schroth in my 02 MCS. They held you like glue. Great addition if you drive hard.

If you still have the passenger side one I want it. You did say it was blue - right.
