One White S-lite needed ASAP

Thanks to a miserable, unprofessional, dishonest tire installer I now have one bent rim and need a new one ASAP. It's a 17", white S-lite. Please contact me if you have one for sale. Small imperfections would be considered.

Thanks,
Tim

P.S. On an unrelated note, I would not recommend going to Hibdon Tire !!!!!!

tiMINItim,

I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me a few years back on a special ordered rim from the UK. The monkey installing the tire on the new clearcoated rim 1) nicked it in two places and 2) scratched the clearcoat in a couple of more places. I'd brought the new rim in its delivery box down to the shop, and you know what they claimed so they wouldn't pay to repair/replace it? Shipping damages from England! (I'd inspected the rim previously and it was perfect.) GRRRRRR ! I'll never go back to those butchers, nohow, noway.

Don't know if this will help you out. I've got 4, but don't really want to break up the set. 2 are in really good shape and 2 have some rash. I'll take $275.00 plus shipping for them. I can send pics if you're interested. I'm in NC.

I don't understand why people don't want to break up their wheel sets.... I sold mine for $175 each to people who needed one wheel so I made $700 from my S-lites. Most full sets with tires don't go for over about $450. Seems like alot more people would want just one than a complete set. Not many people would replace their wheels with S-Lites and not just go aftermarket because they are so heavy, but if you need just one replaced because of damage then it makes economic sense to get a new one to replace it. Hope you find a wheel Tim.

Let's buy a set and split them. I have one that is Bent too bad to use and one scratched. So... I could use one or two. There's wheels on ebay. Some just ran out at 50ish bucks each but all I see now are sets of four. (I was out of town and couldn't bid on the singles that just sold.)

I'm selling mine as a set because I want to get rid of them all at once and not fool around with dealing with 4 different people. Following Super_MINI's reasoning you can buy the set and make most, if not all your money back, selling the spares or save them for replacements. If you've bent one, you could always bend another.

BTW...I also have a set of silver S-lites in similar condition that I'll let go of for $200 plus shipping, if anyone's interested.

I just let a set go on ebay that went for $202.00 and only one was curbed. (Estimated shipping cost of 50 more frogs= $252.00).

Send me some pictures Moorlockx if you would.
