Hey everyone if you have not heard MINICOOPERPARTS is selling alot of their inventory up to 50% off listed price. I stopped by and talked to Enzo and Paula and picked up some chrome I was missing. What a deal !!! Just remeber one thing .... They are selling everything, and might be out of what you want so don't give them any crap. Some people from this site have called and given them some unneeded grief if they did'nt have what they wanted in stock. Here is the link to their site....And be kind!!!

While I'm sure they appreciate the plug, you are a bit late with the annoucement. The initial feeding frenzy a week and a half ago wiped out most of what they had, though they still have some chrome and a few other things at killer pricing!

And like you said....they are really nice people!!

Please..................I ordered a few hours after they posted on here, and I was the second one to reply to the post. I ordered many things. They had only 1 out of 4 things I ordered. And that was the sun visor. I only got that because it was a good deal and I thought I would save money on shipping. Boy was I wrong. I will never buy from a site that doesnt give you shipping prices until you pay them.
-yeagy (happy he got a sun visor!)

You know, I went through the same thing about the shipping cost. I was charged around 10 bucks for 2nd day air. I thought I was paying for normal ground shipping around 5 dollars...what's up with that?

As you might have seen over on the other thread about the minicooperparts.com sale, the company's online "ordering" system isn 't a real-time system. It does litte more than show you catalog pages and then allow you to email a request for a product. It looks like ordering, but it isn't actually until some live person reviews the request, checks to see if they really have the stuff, and then ships what they have and end up selling to you. Therefore, it CAN'T show you the actual shipping charges (or at least they haven't set it up that way) since at the time of your ordering, there's no way of telling what you've actually purchased. Some people find this off-line on-line arrangement ok...some don't.

I don't think the problem IS that the shipping was an unknown. At least in my case, it was more of how much the shipping was. I ordered TWO things. They were shipped separately. I got them a day apart. I spent over $25 in shipping!!!! A rip off!!!! It looks fantastic and it really is a nice, large, swiveling stool, The drawing of a MINI on the top is actually an S b/c there is a line indicating a little hood scoop. So if I can find out about shipping costs upfront, I'd probably order from them again b.c the product was top notch.

Has anybody received their orders yet? It was almost 4 weeks, I have not receive my order yet. However, they also did not charge to my credit card either. Do you know any new update?

Thank you.

Yes, several weeks ago. It's my understanding if they didn't charge you they didn't ship anything and if they didn't ship it yet, you were too late and they ran out of stock.

I just placed an order today and got their last cargo net. I got 2 email confirmations that it was sent out today, one that was automated, and one from a staff person.

My gripe was the shipping charge as well. I got a great deal on a map light for $14, but the shipping was $7 for unrequested 2 day delivery.
That's 50% of the purchase price!
