Does anyone live in or near Akron, OH? Looking carefully at the picture, the car's parked in front of "Dave Walter BMW". Apparently that's in Akron.

My guess is that it's a typo and that they mean $19,000 and not $9,000.

Gee, used car salespeople don't make mistakes, do they?

 

Or $29,000, depending on what kind of dealership they are...

It's listed as for sale by a private owner. I'm assuming the pic was just on the dealer lot.....or maybe the phone lines were screwy..I only tried it once.

The number is an LA number... I doubt this is real at all

 

There was a red S on cars.com for $9K- according to the site it was a flood recovery. Engine wouldn't start, but they didn't know what was wrong with it.

I went to Cars.com and checked on that car. Not a Cooper S and has different mileage. As you said it was in a flood and is listed on AutoSource.
