Got my car tuned yesterday at GermanTech Motorworks in Louisville, KY as they will do a local bench unlock of the DME. I use them for all my Mini and Audi service. Malone does not even advertise this tune for the F56, nor had I ever heard of them. I really wanted the Dinan flash tune which adds much more power, but at this time did not want to have my DME mailed for unlocking (or drive to AL) as my Audi S7 was in an accident and I am short a car. Malone claimed an increase of 44 bhp and about 45 lb torque. I think it takes a little time for the ECU to adjust (at least APR did on my 718 Cayman GTS), but I certainly can tell a positive difference already. The midrange torque in particular is increased significantly. The only odd thing is I hear a sound, sort of a rasp or rattle coming from the back of the car (maybe exhaust) when there is maximum boost. I don't know if the tech did something during his test drive or if this is the nature of the tune. I wish it was an intake sound, but it sounds like it is coming from back of car. Anyway, I paid $1,000 for the tune, of which $369 was labor to include the DME bench unlock.
