F56 Cooper s engine question

Hello I have owned a 2017 Cooper S for the better part of a year now. It has been an amazing car fun to drive handles like a dream. But I do wish it was more capable with the power and I am looking into a tune from BM3(Bootmod3) and the options for the tune come in B48 high compression B48 Low compression, but I have also heard that I have a b46 so I am weary on which option to select because I am not sure which motor I have. Can someone please provide me with some more information on the different motors. And I am also weary about the tune because I have heard that the mini manual transmissions can not support that much power. Many thanks

They should be able to tell you what you need based on your wants and mods. It doesn't look like that's how they work, based on their website. If you can't talk to the tuner before making the upgrade, move to the next tuner.

When I tuned my R55 last year, I went with @Lou@Prototype-R Very knowledgeable guy, and we went through a baseline data log before exchanging any money for the tune. Might be worth it to have a conversation with him.

the tune is an ots cloud based tune from bootmod3 there isn’t a physical tuner
