Cavenspeed Driving Light Kit w/PIAA LP530 Driving Lights Installed...

So I decided to go against the OEM setup from Mini for the driving lights since you can only use them when the high beam is on. I ordered the Cravenspeed Driving/Fog Light Brackets which are truly amazing looking and super simple to install. I bought PIAA LP530 Driving Lights and had “AutoWerks” in Middletown, NJ install the lights with a OEM Light Switch (Front/Rear Fog Included) and boy o boy those it work perfect! Chris did an amazing job doing the install with zero issues! Highly recommend him and his shop. He also installed my OEM Rear Camera from Bimmertech. Truly an amazing feature to have in this little car!! Worth the money in all aspects!! Enjoy, Jose

Jose, Thanks for the post/photos. Looks good. Been thinking about those lights for a while but was concerned about how thick they are. It appears that they are pointed down. Do they adjust enough to raise the beam? Do you push the driving light button on the switch or the rear fog button?

Thanks SFMCS. The lights fit perfect with zero fitment issues. It looks like they are tilted down but they aren’t. I aimed them on a lighting machine my buddy has so I could get the optimal light to the ground. As far as the button, Chris from AutoWerks is using the OEM Driving Light Button to turn them on and off. Love the OEM look with the PIAA setup that I can use as I’m driving. I’ll try to take Night Pics when they are on. Enjoy, Jose

Jose, Did Craven have the LP530's or did you get them somewhere else? They list the LP550's which are larger. Been looking at the 530's.

I ordered those from Amazon for $180. The OEM Switch was $170. I like the look of the 530 for their low profile blend into the grill look. The car is my NYC commuter and clearly the roads in NJ/NY are horrible! Already had to replace the grill after a stone went thru the grill and cracked it, thank God the car is PPF’d. Enjoy, Jose

Thanks for the info. Was looking to do the same (Amazon-CS brackets). Looks good-will do the same. Regards.

I just got the PIAA 3.5" yellow fog lights and cravenspeed mounts. Will post a pic when they get mounted. I will ask them to wire them to go on with the stock fog lights.
