it wont have the same exhaust though, so I don't know how close in sound they will be
For sure, but the same engine. I personally give a s.... on engine-noise, led laser lights, as long the car goes well, The video and the related article, is basically about new 1 Series Sept 2019.
What is interesting, the movie was made at BMW Mar-a-Largo test track, videos shoot from a M2 comp. They did 5 rounds more or less full throttle. The info is:
- The M135i Series, with XDrive is at the same level in low and medium sections
- The M2 pulls away in fast sections and uses his drastic hp advantage.
"And while the M2 for fast driving requires skill and in some situations calls for a quick response, the M135i driver has a much easier job: The essential work for high cornering speed provides the technology package, the driver can do little wrong"
and that sounds like a JCW GP3, MINI has an eye on its customers, so maybe we have the 4WD as well, and a fantastic base for a supercar in all respects.
I might have missed this somewhere, but has anyone heard/read anything about what the GP3 top speed might be? And of course I’m talking about a GP3 with a “governor delete”.
If a R56 Challenge does this, what must the GP3 be in a position for ? Some people still argue that they have seen a rear differential, so lets cross fingers for the ultimate Cayman eater !
