Does anyone know what this is. It is leaking oil due to a bolt that is broken off on the bottom. Is there a gasket for this before I take it apart and try to tap bolt?

Looks just like the timer for automatic defrost in my $79 cut rate mini fridge. I can't find one on my Mini as she is not a cut rate mass merchandise.

It's your vacuum pump that provides a vacuum to actuate things like your wastegate. If it's leaking oil, it might be a sign that the internal seal has failed. That oil should should stay under the valve cover and not into the pump. They do sell a rebuild kit I just discovered on eBay.

Vacuum pump for sure. But we always replace the pump complete as they are known for failing locking up and breaking the cam.

I second the pump replacement. There are two parts on these engines that destroy them, timing chain and vacuum pumps. The vacuum pump vane breaks and jams in the housing causing the exhaust cam to lock up. The cam timing chain gear bolt will sheer off and then the pistons hit all your exhaust valves. Vacuum pump is cheap an engine isn't .
