Success!!!!

Thanks everyone that added info/suggestions/complaints on my Dinan thread. I did get a third unit from Dinan that they accidentally sent but the asked me to try out even though I was getting a refund and if it worked they would then recharge me. Unfortunately for Dinan just hours before I successfully installed and reprogrammed my ECU using Bytetronik which is more my speed since I am used to using COBB with my Subaru that had 500 AWHP. The Bytetronik is performing really well and I am getting about 20 psi of boost with all of my extra upgrades which is awesome for stock turbo. Best of luck to anyone that buys a Dinan now. They seem to have gone downhill. I recieved 2 units with the same MAC which makes them not refisterable for warranty. Also they RMA processs is super slow if you have problems. Expect already a week to two weeks to get a solution.

My Bytetrobik experience was getting my initial unit shipped priority 2 days then I did the install and had my new MAP within 2 hours of emailing them my ECU data. The instructions were perfect and the follow up by the company was great. The only downside I had with them was having to buy a specific socket set for taking the plug wires off. Otherwise I and 100 percent happy with the product and the power delivered since it was specifically programmed for the aftermarket products I had installed previously. Thanks Minivinnie for the recommendation.

you need a star set to take off the plug wires. Pep boys has a universal set that does all bolts.

It’s about 6 to 7 psi increase after the 1.5 psi drop from the Forge FMIC

7 PSI will increase the HP just shy of 50%, which is a nice little kick.

I would say C. It is definitely nice in gear 3 - 5. The true test is when I change my suspension to KW Clubsports w strut tower bar and rear sway bard and put on my NM 17" wheels that weigh half as much and put some Michelin tires on. right now there is a lot of tire spin in 1st and second gear even when I use sport traction mode.
