Springs...

On the ECS site, they have a few options for springs...now before everyone tells me I should go the coilover route, I'm looking to improve the looks and ride height more than handling, though a slight improvement there wouldn't hurt. I don't track and it's a daily 12 mile round trip commuter.

Thoughts on neuspeed vs eibach vs h&r vs ac schnitzer?

Thanks in advance.

Actually we have installed and driven both the NM and Eibach, but also the Craven springs. And I have to say we liked the Craven's the best they rode the best, but still got it lowered and still performed.

2nd choice would be the NM

Would think we have most everything the other side of the pond has. ATS is selling here now, what are some names that you are thinking of?

I am sure you have everything (Corvette 1981 leaf springs however) - no the fiber springs came to my attention with this topic. Renault used them on a 2.0 front wheel record try, some years ago. AUDI supposed to use them in certain models of the A4 since 2017. I think they are made in Italy.

I picked up the Eibach springs that were specifically for the JCW, and I am very happy with them. They keep the car flatter in corners, help to prevent squatting when accelerating, and still give a nice ride. I'll probably upgrade the shocks to Bilsteins when I get a chance (and money), but so far so good.

Funny thing.
Eibach has 3 part numbers for the F56.
In the US one number for both S and JCW

In Germany one number different from US for the S, and 2 numbers for the JCW,
one being the same as the S, the other with a different front rate.

The German numbers show 15mm to 20mm drop for the JCW!!!

When I was looking for springs, I couldn't find anyone in the US that had a setup specifically for the F56 JCW, so I purchased them from here, and the front axle lad was 945Kg:

I feel like it may have been closer to a one inch drop, but that could be my imagination.

I also want to shorten my jcw, about 20mm - 30mm, but do not want to reduce the comfort of driving, because many bad and bumpy road in my place, I wear 225/40/18, 18x8 ...
better use spring only, or run to coilover ? , coilover my plan to KW, do not know if spring ... thank you

I assume they will work with DDC as well as the NM springs? Appreciate your thoughts on this.
