New JCW Challenge track spec. car

Mini (JCW) copied my Johnny for their new "Challenge" track spec car!
Silver White paint , factory aerokit, Team Dynamics wheels & fully adjustable coilover suspension.
Carbon fiber trim & Shadow line gloss black light trim.

I still like mine better with VR tuning & AWE tuning goodies.

Only available in the UK!!

Thanks for the post. Btw, did you get a chance to dyno your car with the VR module installed?

Jobexo,

no not yet. Still waiting for AWE tuning to re-release their re-engineered S-flo carbon fiber intake. (Check engine light with the 1st batch).

They keep telling me "next week" but next week always turns into Next Week!!

I noticed they were able to fit the JCW center cap in Team Dynamics wheels.

I've been speaking with Josh at AWE Tuning often about this. I had the CEL problem too. This is the email I got on 6/6.

"Hey, my man!

We have a few local clients running the updated tube as we speak and no issues yet.

Engineering wants to get a good amount of mileage on these new parts before they're comfortable signing off on the testing and getting tubes out to the public.

It should be just a few more weeks to wrap up testing and then we can start getting parts out to everyone.

My best,"

I'm happy to wait a little longer for them to get it right once and for all.

According to RDSJCW (in an earlier post) the JCW center caps will not fit the Team Dynamics wheel center openings, although the pic says otherwise....how about this RDSJCW?

I noticed that too.

My JCW center caps were to small for the Team Dynamics opening.

Im sure BMW/Mini/JCW made proper sized center caps for the "Challenge" car Team Dynamics wheels.

Now- the trick is how to purchase them.

For a run of 400+ wheels I imagine TD would not have a problem adjusting the center cap bore size to Mini specs. A simple adjustment to the CNC machine. I'd put my money on that vs Mini tooling up to mold a small number of center caps.
