Thank you

That sure is expensive for a piece of plastic, but it really improves the look.

I like it! But, the thought of drilling into my brand new JCW front bumper cover makes me cringe! Not for me right now...maybe in a few years once the newness wears off!

The splitter is quite heavy and back edge of the bumper gives it little support (that's the 7 screws). The 2 that go into the front are the main support. You would not be able to see the holes if you remove the splitter and there are little plugs for that type of thing.

So, you have installed one already? I would have to see one installed in person before jumping I believe.

Working on it! The back 4 screw are not long enough with Pro Splitters. You have to drill holes though the splitters and the packers. I commented once before that these are a dirt trap.....but they look OK for the price.

Just placed an order for a non JCW splitter. It's a drop ship item so no idea about ETA.

I think the only difference is the hardware. My splitter has markings for both cars. I ended up cutting my splitter as I thought it looked like an afterthought the way it fitted near the wheel arches. I really just a sheet of plastic they router to the shape.
I'll post pics of my install with the modified JCW pro splitters tomorrow.

Splitter install with JCW Pro Splitters.
This does not fit properly. The JCW Pro Splitter pushes the sides down causing the middle to bend up slightly.
I was not happy with the way this fitted my car. Looked too wide IMO....so it trimmed the sides.

Where I cut

Also the mounts at the front are not a quality product. The front bumper has two layers of plastic and the supplied system is frankly crappy. I will pull the vents later and bolt the front on properly. You don't want this thing ripping off at 120 MPH!
To make this fit properly you would have to fit a 3/8" piece of plastic at the back above the splitter running between the 2 JCW Pro splitters. Also the front of the AC schnitzer splitter needs to be lower so the packers provided need to be longer. I'll post how long when I remount this thing properly.

Excellent work, Gregory. The splitter completes the front aero.

I believe you made the fitment as good as it can be...nice work! I'm just wondering if that ACS splitter is made to fit with the JCW front splitters now? I'd like to see if the standard front corners on the JCW would work better with this ACS splitter, so it is positioned flatter.

Yes the standard corners work but I personally find the transition to weird. I feel this is a compromise that works well. Still if you have the money the 3d design is the way to go...but you would not want to lower your car!

Not true. My car is lowered with the 3DDesign kit and I live in a city with horrible roads and haven't scraped it once. That ACS kit looks like a giant ****-show to install and doesn't really look like it adds much in the looks department.

I would not be concerned about the roads themselves. I'd be concerned about stuff laying on it or this concrete parking blocks. Just out of interest would you mind giving us to distance from the bottom of your spoiler to the road surface? Thanks

Yeah, it's about "this far" from the street.

And no holes had to be drilled, no pieces had to be modified.

I think the pictures give you enough of a view to see how low it is compared to the ground. Especially with my car being lowered on the JCW Kit. But I'll pretend your comment wasn't sarcastic.

That looks excellent. But it cost a bunch more than the one that was hard to install right?

I don't know how much that other one costs. I don't mind paying for quality and not having making permanent holes in my car to accommodate a less aggressive and aesthetically pleasing (in my opinion) aero kit.

The main reason this was hard to install was that I was doing what it was not designed for (including the JCW Pro splitters).
I personally don't love the carbon fibre look. I think that although the 3D Design splitter is beautiful it looks added on because it is carbon fibre. I they made one in plastic I would have been all over it...but they don't and have no plans to.
The only issue with the Schnitzer Splitter is method of attaching to the underside of the bumper. The North American bumper has 3 layers of plastic and therefore there is no way for the expanding mount they provide to expand properly. I'm sending them pics so they can address the problem.
The holes under the bumper are not visible unless the car is on a hoist and there are nice little black rubber plugs if you ever decide to remove it.
