I've noticed as my car has been fully broken in the clutch is making a spinoff? not sure if it's the right description that it didn't make when it was new. I have about 6,000 miles on the car now.
When I push in clutch pedal it makes a pretty noticeable zzzzrrrrrr sound once released from engagement to the engine. I could record the sound next time I drive. Just wondering if this is normal for the rest of you with manuals.

OVERDRIVE
It's definitely not an appropriate sound.
Does the clutch pedal feel different and/or variable in its pressure or engagement?

Not that I can notice, and I consider myself very perceptive to small variations like that.. I'll try and record the sound to playback. To me it sounds like part of the clutch is still spinning for a moment after it disengages from the engine.

Yea, should not be like that. Possible throw out bearing making noise.

I took car in for my 8000 mile service last week. I took technician for a ride and he said it is a noisy/vibrating waste gate. I had never tried it but if I rev. car way up at a light with no clutch involved it makes the same sound when I take foot of the gas. I had been releasing gas with clutch, which is why I thought they were related. My old mini cooper s didn't make this sound.

The most likely replaced the turbo as a whole part if under warranty or maybe this is a TSB fix ?

He didn't act like it was something I needed to worry about. If you blip your throttle at a light do you get a noise vibrating zrrr noise from your waste gates?
