My car should be in Brunswick, GA on Friday. My MA thinks to could sit there till September or worse case October. Any heard when the 2016s will be released from the ports to the dealers?
Yeah, mine hit Brunswick, GA on Thursday 07/30/2015. My MA says it's held up by EPA at this point. Was hoping they'd get the kinks worked out on this deal after last year's EPA delays. September or October will be pretty unbearable given the fact the cars are here.

Can someone share more info on 2016 models held at ports? I searched NAM, but didnt find anything immediately.
I got the following response from someone - not my MA - who has contacts at MINIUSA:
I checked in with MINIUSA for you and the news is good. The car is being processed at the port and is not being held for any EPA or regulatory issues. In fact, if the dealer checks tomorrow it will likely no longer be there and the car will have been released from the port to the dealer.
Thanks for the hopeful info. I am in DC waiting for my order to cross the ocean. Knowing it was in Baltimore, a mere few miles down the road would kill me. Waiting has been hard enough. First world problems......
That sounds hopeful. Mine will hit port on 8/7/2015 in Brunswick, GA. I'm only about 30 minutes away and want to go see my baby. Think I could have visitation rights. LOL

Maybe you could get a conjugal visit and give your car some love. 😉
