JCW steering wheel, horn not functioning

As the title implies, I have an upgraded jcw steering wheel, but the horn does not work. I did not do the the install, and it seems probable that someone simply missed the wire for the horn.

Are there any other possibilities I could try before removing the wheel?

Is it possible that this is not a first gen JCW steering wheel? or would that not fit?

Just pull the airbag and make sure the one ground wire is connected. That is the only wire for the horn in the steering wheel.

a review of your posts suggests you bought this car to 'track'

if I am wrong ... stop here

on the other hand

did you TEST the horn b4 you bought the car?

Have you looked at the fuse for the horn?

Has you applied a meter at the horn connection?

No, this is not a track car. Fuse is fine. I have not checked voltage at the horn.

Sounds like the cable was not clipped in. Disconnect the battery before you unhook the airbag.

^ Will do.

I guess I should have mentioned, the radio/cruise controls all work. I suppose the horn cable is easier to miss.

I tested the voltage at the horn connection, solid 12v. Looks like the horns need replacing.
