It looks to me like MINIUSA hasn't updated the JCW configuration yet. They have the Cold Package at the new price of $750, but still have the rear fogs on both Mini. On the JCW configuration, they have the Cold Package still at the old price of $650, as well as the rear fogs on at $100. Looks to me like the JCW configuration is of old yet.

 

Just FYI, MoBoost's JCW is Rebel Green with a black roof. Don't feel bad about it, when I saw a Rebel Green in person I thought it was black until the sunshine hit it just right and I thought to myself "hmm that's an odd black". It wasn't until I looked at the window sticker and it said Rebel Green that it made sense. It's definitely the darkest green I've seen.

 

There were a couple Rebel Green ones at Minis On Top this year and I have to agree it is unbelievably dark. I thought my BRG was dark until I saw that. It does look black unless you the right light and right angle. It really is a nice looking color, but did not want two green cars so stuck with the Thunder Grey.

 

I didn't read through all the posts but did Mini change the connected + visual boost option in which it now has to be added through the media pkg?

 

Question for those in the know: are there any differences between the 2013 Mini Connect and the F56 Mini Connect?

 

Yeah, the car is green. It's like the Connaught Green offered a few years ago. Quite a bit darker than the BRG of my old car.

That's correct. For MY15 you could order the Visual Boost + Connected as a standalone option, which is what I wanted as I don't like the armrest. It's *the* reason I pushed to get a 2015 instead of a 2016.

 

Well good news: My JCW disembarked from TYSLA today in Baltimore. It just has to make it through VPC and then truck to the dealership.

 

Let's hope there isn't a holdup at the VPC alluded to on the other thread. But yours is a 2015, so that shouldn't be a problem?

Rebel Green, while unbelievably dark, is a fantastic color - and it looks stunning in the sun.

 

If it shows up on the VIN Decorder, one would think the rear fogs made it on the car... My 2016 should arrive this week or next so I am also curious to see if the rear fogs are on there too.

 

The cinfiguration, it still isn't showing the new price on the Cold Package either. I, also thought that the dimming mirrors were suppose to be included in the Cold Package which doesn't show. Still, the MINI Configuration is leaps and bounds better than the BMW 2 Series configuration.

 

The configurer doesn't show the dimming mirrors with the CW package, but the CW does include the dimming mirrors. I ordered my 2016 with the CW package, and when i checked the VIN decoder, the auto dimming mirrors were included.

 

Ms Agatha is on the way! Got my VIN on Saturday. Production started on 7/29. She should be complete on 8/7 and delivery is targeted for early Sept. I'm going to the vin decoder today to make sure things match up with my order paperwork. The end is in sight. The wait is a killer!

 

The wait is killer indeed. My 2016 JCW will be my first car that I custom ordered, and the 2+ months I've been waiting are brutal!

 

That is definitely a However, does that mean that the exterior dimming mirrors now are $500, rather than getting both inside and outside dimming mirrors like it was last year? If I read that correctly, that is.

 

So far I've been waiting since April, which admittedly is unusually long for a MINI order these days, but is no big deal compared to the early years of the 1st gen MINI where there was an extensive wait-list. I do agree the wait is always agonizing!

My JCW has been released from Customs and is scheduled to arrive at Motor City MINI sometime today.

I put in my order in early March and mine is on its way to Southampton today to sit at port and wait for a boat over. MiniUSA decided that when I ordered did not matter and that people in big cities are more important than I am so my manual transmission JCW order was not built among the first ones. This angered me quite a bit, and now I am hearing rumors (hopefully wrong) that there may be a hold up on 2016 cars at VDC. If that happens, I may just lose it and Mini and my dealership will definitely need to sweeten the deal even further in order for me not to cancel.

Nice!! This is the first 2016 MINI I have seen! Can you confirm that the second glove box is in fact gone? Also - did you order rear fog lights? If so - did they arrive on the car?

 

I can confirm the second glove box is on fact....GONE. Yeah.....kinda disappointing. I do have the rear foglights, and they were installed at the factory.

 

Well at least you got the rear fogs...

Did you by chance get the chrome line interior? If so - are the toggles chrome or piano black?

 

I did not, I ordered it with the piano black trim....but all of the switches are still chrome
