Perhaps he doesn't have an available allocation for one.

Very likely the reason. My dealer had one slot for June.

My dealer said they probably won't have any allocations for manual till July. So I wait.

Well I have half an update. So both of our cars were slated for end of May production. That came and went. Now the system says end of June. MCM emailed the MINIUSA production rep to find out what the problem is.

Curiously, the cars are still at status 112, and as far as I can discern a 1 month delay while not being pushed back to an earlier status is unusual.

Hmmm. Wonder if other orders for manuals were also pushed out? Anyone else here expecting a JCW manual transmission car to be built in June?

Update: MY MA says my build is scheduled for June 15-21. Okay for me since I was at one time totally shut out of June.

I ordered a MT JCW on 18 May...still awaiting word from my MA regarding production number or build month. I was initially told early July, but was promised a more refined date when he input the order into the system. ... Hoping to get a message today with more information.

Same here. Sometime in July but no definitive date. Fingers crossed that it's soon.

Awesome!! I FINALLY heard from my MA today after absolutely no word for 2.5 weeks (not even confirmation of my build list) ...still no allocation for me yet. I did finally get the build list though. Sigh. Wondering when this might roll to a 2016 model...

My MA said mine would definitely be a 2016. Looks like maybe all the manuals will be but who knows. It will be interesting to see if anyone gets a 2015.

For those rolling to 2016MY, double check the build sheets before it goes into production. Some of the packages and dependencies will shift from 2015 to 2016 and it's worth a double check to make sure nothing you wanted gets added/deleted!

My JCW Manual is COMPLETED as of Today. Received my VIN. Waiting on shipping info. What's taking the rest of you so long?

Antberrie - You could check that VIN on the decoder to see if your JCW is going to be registered as a 2016 or a 2015 (if you care).

My price actually went down about $150 and I got to add the active drive assist. Looks like auto dimming mirrors were added to the cold weather package.

Mine also is going into production this week. Have a vin#.

Out of interest I just took a JCW for a quick drive around the block. It honestly Only 100miles on it. It did not feel as quick as my F56 MCS with the BM tune!! Just for those interested. Loved the drive though DDC.

The Owners Lounge has updated my status to "Scheduled for Production" and has my VIN, however when I check the bmwarchive.org it comes up with nothing. Perhaps not updated yet?

The very end of my VIN is 97344. What's everyone elses? We should all be pretty close numerically.

Seems like the Vin #'s are based on the day of build.

997347. Yeah, no data for mine either. Want to verify the tire type; thanks for that tip GregoryK!
