I really like how the rack looks, planning on getting one next snow season to lug my board to Mammoth. What suspension do you currently have?

I have Megan coil overs, so far I really like the set up I just need to get rid of the run flats.

The JCW is out of commission for a few days I hate the fact that all these new cars are ran by a computer!!! It's like 1984 big brother but the automobile version! What ever happened to the days when a gas pedal moved a cable? Lol just kidding I love technology but its a pain to work around at times...

Well the car has 3,000 miles on if and is at the dealer with a blown computer and a bill at the tune of $2100! Greasy's did pretty simple bolt on stuff with no computer chipping or anything. I did the exact same mods to my new Audi S 4 prior to owning the Mini with a chip tune ant a test pipe, APR fuel pump and the dealer still fixed the car during the warranty! I am a huge Mini fan and all I have to say is, they wonder why the get low ratings well stuff like this is why I am slowly becoming a non believer and perhaps see a Audi S3 or a STI in my future. I do understand that we take the risk when we mod but I know they did not go into the computer and there are many guys on this forum with the same mods. At this point I just want a running car, I used to really enjoy going to the dealer now it's time to find another one...

Wow. What mods did you have done and what did the dealer say caused the ecu to go? Without a wild tune and extreme mods that shouldnt happen.

Yeah, one guy says it's the end, OP says no much more to come and goes silent. I was just googling for some good build threads, it just made me laugh.
