I'm going to revive this thread with a question:

Has anyone successfully installed these panels on a car WITHOUT the JCW door sills? I've only got an S, with the factory S door sills. Will these panels work properly?

I'm embarrassed to say I only just now took a look under my still-fairly-new-to-me Coupe, and it already has the under panels installed (not the under-engine panel or diffuser though). I had no idea!

Probably won't get an under-engine panel or diffuser purchase past the wife though. :(

Yes, they will work with the S and Cooper models.

I looked through that thread, and didn't see them... I see them now, thanks!

Do those panels come with the required hardware for installation?

No, you will need all the hardware in that list, except for the one that says ended, that's an update. Some of the hardware already exists under your car and piggybacks.

Is there any information on mounting a rear diffuser, whether a GP2 or otherwise, to a Clubman?

The bumper is so different on the R56/R57/R58/R59 Rear JCW version Vs. the R55 S or JCW.

I have never seen one. It would have to be custom for sure. I have seen it done on an R53.

I saw it first on this car:

I know there isn't much room under the rear of the Clubman, just curious if anyone has gone through the exercise and documented the process.

Even if GP2 or Challenge diffusers haven't been used, would be curious if any Clubman owners have performed an installation.

Yea, I have seen that one but it has the rare and NLA MINI challenge 2007+ rear spoiler. Kind of along the line of the Gp2 but metal and made for an R56 then fabricated to work on the R55 pace car.

That diffuser looks great, but I'm not sure how effective it would be. The rear underbody of the Clubman is pretty flat and the trailing edge of the diffuser seems to be pretty low compared to the diffuser design on the hardtop.

I'm no aerodynamic engineer though......have looked at my Clubbie and thought about a diffuser and concluded it would take more cutting and hacking than I wanted to do. I'm not questioning MINI's engineers, just speculating that they might have installed that diffuser mostly for looks....and it does look good.

Yea, they build one offs at the MINI design lab, this might have been one of those.
