JCW Black Cross-spokes with Red lip?

I've seen pictures of the Black JCW Cross-spoke rims with a red lip. I've also seen them in person in the showroom of a Mini dealer (I attached a picture to this thread)

However, when I go online in the configurator I don't see any version of these rims that have the red lip. E-mailed my MA and she isn't aware of these being factory rims either.

Can someone tell me what I'm seeing here and if there's any way to get these?

you can just get them pin stripped or rim tape and tape the edge. its known as time attack style and was popular 4-5 years ago, but now as been played out to death and dont see it much anymore.

What rim size, color, design, offset, etc... has not been played out. It's a wheel. Pick what YOU like and run it!

Red brake calipers, blacked out trim, lowered, it's all been played out! I love the looks of all of it and choose what I want on MY car.

Yep, I think the red lip on the wheels look awesome of there are any red bits and pieces on the car. I have that photos from Outmotoring's website on my phone because that's pretty close to what I want my Coupe to look like when I get it. Awesome. Played out, or not.

I got these wheels on my 2013 JCW. What I was told is that they are not a "factory" option; they're a "dealer" option. From the factory, mine came with the cheapest wheels they'd put on a JCW. Then the dealer put the red rims on, credited me for my delivery tires, and there you go.

The somewhat muddled story I got was that the factory only does a small subset of the total possible configurations; all the rest are dealer options. Same business about my sport and side stripes as well.

How do you ensure you get 5% off. Is there a code we enter or something? This website has pretty much everything for OEM replacements or repairs.

Just get the black ones and get the pinstripe installed later. The stock pinstripe is way too thick. A thinner one would look much better. Real easy to do.
