Can you purchase the JCW exhaust separately from the JCW kit? Has anybody tested the performance of the exhaust?

My dealer said they could order it for $995 plus $110 for the tips. I thought the exhaust only came with the kit.

The JCW exhaust is so quiet that it sounds almost like the stock exhaust. I can hardly hear the exhaust at all, even with the windows open. I guess the intake and the supercharger whine totally drown out the exhaust. As far as performance goes, I don't know anyone who has the exhaust without the entire package.

Here's an idea:
Without the badges, the only visible difference between a JCW and a stock S is the exhaust tip. $110 tips can be mounted on any exhaust. As for the badge, they probably sell them too. As long as the bonnet is shut, no one will ever know it's not a JCW.
